As a former head basketball coach who spent 20 years as the lead coach for the Dallas Mavericks Hoop Camp for Youth, Coach Rhodes has earned a reputation as the one who basketball coaches and trainers seek out for advice. Some call him a "Shot Doctor" for his ability to Identify, recognize, and diagnose deficiencies and defects. He's able to provide the proper intervention using game-ready muscle memory drills for correction and improvement. He is not only a business partner who serves on the Advisory Board of Directors of Basketball Shooting LLC., a company that supplies high-quality instruction to improve three-point shooting and free throws but is also one of their featured shooting experts. Many of his own players as well as those he has trained have gone on to play Div. I, NBA and professionally overseas

ABOUT US

Mr. Rhodes has been a school administrator, science instructional specialist, instructional coach, and teacher for 47 years, with 33 of those years as a high school chemistry teacher. He has trained teachers in different forms of teaching processes, mediated learning, and various reading programs to increase student fluency and comprehension. In 2020, he was inducted into the H. Grady Spruce Hall of Fame, where for 20 years, he was a two-time teacher of the year and assistant principal. He served 8 years as an administrator and 5 years as an instructional specialist and instructional coach where he trained teachers in different forms of teaching processes, mediated learning and reading techniques to increase student fluency and comprehension.

Credentials: Principal Certification, Chemistry/Biology Certification, MLE Certification, Master of Science in Science Education, 47 Years in Education.
